Ohare Conrac
The Consolidated Car Rental Facility (CONRAC) is a 3,000,000 gsf parking structure that will house both rental and privately owned vehicles. BlackRockCostruction furnished and installed 3,000 cubic yards of topping slab, sidewalks, and curbs.
Salt Barn
In the summer of 2016 the ISTHA constructed a new 13,000 sf Salt Barn and Material Storage bin structure at their M6 location in Marengo - Hampshire IL. BlackRock Contsruction furnished and installed 1,000 cubic yards of footings, walls, and pavement for this structure.
Shoreline
10,000 cubic yards of concrete revetments and 900,000 pounds of rebar for the new Promenade and revetment expansion at Fullerton and Lakeshore Drive. The project was created by the city of Chicago, Army Corp of Engineers, and the park district that will add six acres of new park space along the lakefront and a new path for pedestrians and bicyclists.
Metra
(Calumet)
Provided the electrical and concrete work for the south headhouse for the Metra Calumet project in East Hazel Crest, IL. Our concrete division framed and poured the wall cap, stairs, landings, and completed the slab on grade along with providing ADA tiles for compliance.
